CCDC India was founded in 1990 as a specialist chemical and process engineering consultancy in Chennai. Over fourty years we have advised on projects spanning agrochemials, petrochemicals, fertilisers, pharmaceuticals, and specialty chemicals across India and internationally.

Innovation is intrinsic to chemical engineering, but it only succeeds when it is married to first principles: a novel recovery scheme, a continuous process replacing a batch one, or a revamp that doubles capacity all rest on rigorous mass and energy balances, sound thermodynamics, and hard-won plant experience. That combination — invention disciplined by fundamentals — is what we bring to process design, safety and hazard studies, and techno-economic appraisal alike.

Over four decades we have completed more than 50 major projects, produced over 40 engineering reports and studies, and worked across a variety of chemical and allied sectors — from grassroots nitric acid and precipitated calcium carbonate plants to VOC and solvent recovery systems, formaldehyde and agrochemical revamps, HAZOP and risk assessments, and environmental clearances. Marrying engineering principles with practical knowledge creates plants that deliver yields close to calculated values.
